The crab claw on which this charm is based was found amongst the flotsam and jetsam of a storm-ravaged beach in Krabi. Crab claws traditionally symbolise strength, but in this context it would be a more appropriate reminder that even the strongest things can be vulnerable and that we should take every opportunity to enjoy the time we are given.
